*A note about my reviews: I am not a Zagat guide. Some of my reviews are much more detailed, while others are brief mentions of places I’ve checked out in the context of a larger blog post. Some restaurants are my definite go-tos (Aziza, L’Ardoise..), while others I’ve only been to on one occasion (and they clearly made a good impression). I generally prefer to write about places I like. Some are home runs, others are just ‘pretty good’ but either way, I think that you won’t be spitting your food into a napkin anywhere.

Most of my reviews are going to be covering the San Francisco Bay Area (it’s my home and where I eat), but I love to travel, too, and whenever I travel, I always explore the food. On those occasions, I will be including reviews of places Beyond the Bay. For more detailed destination reviews, check out my City Guides.

If you’re coming to visit San Francisco and don’t know where to begin, don’t hesitate to ping me by leaving a comment, emailing me or sending me a message on Twitter or Facebook.
