Kasey + Matt, the video is fantastic. It does such a great job capturing the spirit of the pairings box and the site. I love how it tells the story of food and music bringing people together. Congrats!

Great Video! My favorite part, has got to be the eggplant, I cannot wait to see a recipe for that dish. Looks amazing!! We are huge fans of eggplant (and of TT).

Great job, y’all. Video was exquisitely produced – as were the chicken skewers. You do a fantastic job of sharing recipes and music that agree with my palate.

  • Lindsey Zouein

I love the video! My favorite part is the friends gathering at the end. Congrats to both of you!

  • Me Meli

i love the video and the whole idea of food and music!! it’s like the perfect therapy for your soul and mind.

  • Harley

I hate pistachios, so the fact that you make pistachio dust look delicious is testament to your cooking/film-making abilities.

  • Monica Burke

Loved the music! I also loved how simple and beautiful the recipes looked. What a great idea. I wantto get a box!

  • Amy Harper

    I second that :)

  • Anonymous

That was like watching a cool indie video from late 90′s era radness. I like how the entire pairings program is explained, without a narrator or flashy logos in your face. I love the giving recipes and music in a package idea, did it for Christmas a couple years ago. Great job!

  • Martybrewda

Great Video. There is no limit to what you two can do. Great work guys!!! Also second major video Matt hasent spoken in(Foodology). #FreeMatt.

The best part was the beginning, when the needle was dropped and the wax was spinning. And great looking food to top it all off.

  • Richard

I like the opening of the box; it’s like Christmas every month!
Oh, and the eggplant being stacked like savoury macarons.

  • Linuus41

Wonderful video for a wonderful idea! Great vinyl and great food for great times! What struck me the most was how accessible it all was… like anyone could make a truly great and distinctive meal. It was an empowering feeling!…. It actually made me want to sign up for the program!

Thank you for drawing the connection between food and music… I always tried to do my own pairings and now I know I’m not alone. :) Thanks for the video and this opportunity!

  • Horosho

The yogurt and spices being mixed together, the chicken being grilled, and the pomegranate puree being plopped into the dessert jar. In terms of videography, the cuts and text transitions were well-done.

I’m not living in the US, but my best friend is in NYC. He’s an amazing musician and digs making good food with unique ingredients. I think he’s in a bit of a winter blues slump, and I know this is something that he’d cheer him up.

Keep up the good compilations and curating!

  • Onejia

I love all the round shapes! Everything reminded me of records! What a great idea!
