  • Can I purchase multiple gift subscriptions?

    Of course! You can purchase multiple gift subscriptions. If you’d like to purchase a bulk order (for example, as a wedding favor, corporate gift, etc.), please email info@turntablekitchen.com. For large orders, we recommend contacting us at least a month and a half in advance to ensure that we have enough stock to meet your order.

  • How do I get the colored vinyl versions of SOUNDS DELICIOUS?

    The deluxe vinyl variant is available to SOUNDS DELICIOUS members who supported our Kickstarter campaign with either 6-mo or 12-mo pledges. Beginning with SD013 it will also be available to all members who have been members for at least 12 consecutive months.

    The single color variant is available to all active subscribers who are either 1) active at the time the record ships or 2) were an active subscriber when payments are processed for the subsequent release – whichever comes first.

    If you subscribe and cancel before that, your order will be treated a 1-month subscription and you will not be eligible for the colored vinyl variant.

     

  • When will my first record arrive?

    We work hard to ship orders as quickly as possible in the order they were received. However, due to the nature of many of the components of our products (vinyl records in particular) it can sometimes take 1-3 weeks to process and ship new orders.

  • Where can I find the digital download?

    If you look inside the gatefold jacket – in the place where you’d typically store the record – you should find a credit card sized piece of paper with a url and a unique password.

  • Can you tell when the x artist album will come out?

    We typically schedule releases based on when the artists deliver their finished record to us which translates to first in, first out. As such, our release schedule isn’t set in stone. Once a record is in production, we announce it on the site, via our social channels, and in our weekly newsletter. So follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.

  • What do I get as a club member?

    SOUNDS DELICIOUS members as well as 6 and 12 month gift orders receive limited edition colored variants of our featured vinyl. Members who continue their memberships beyond 12 consecutive releases automatically receive the ultra rare deluxe colored vinyl edition (e.g. white vinyl with red splatter) of each release, beginning with their 13th release. 1 month and 3 month gift orders receive black vinyl.

  • Why hasn’t my record arrived yet?

    There can be many different reasons why your record may not have arrived yet. We’re a small operation and it takes us a while to ship all orders. We’re also working with artists to record full-length albums which require studio time and production time. Occasionally, we experience delays that are out of our control. We know that delays can be frustrating (they stress us out, too!) but we do our best to communicate about them with as much transparency as possible.

  • Can I gift SOUNDS DELICIOUS?

    Yes! We offer 1-mo, 3-mo, 6-mo, and 12-mo gift orders.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    We understand that circumstances change. Unless we have already processed your order for the current month, you can cancel your recurring subscription at any time. Instructions for canceling your subscription via PayPal should be provided in the confirmation email you received from PayPal. If that fails or you misplace that email, it is still as easy as emailing us at: info@turntablekitchen.com.

  • How do you choose the artists you work with?

    There’s no specific process – we find artists to partner with in a variety of ways. We frequently contact artists we love directly and propose the collaboration. In other cases, artists or their labels reach out to us directly. If you’re an artist, manager, or label and would like to partner with us just shoot us an email at info@turntablekitchen.com and let us know what you have in mind.

  • Who are some of the artists that have been previously featured in SOUNDS DELICIOUS?

    We’ve already been lucky enough to feature many of the artists we love. We’ve featured Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie/Postal Service) covering Teenage Fanclub; Yumi Zouma covering Oasis; Frankie Rose (Crystal Stilts/Dum Dum Girls/Vivian Girls) covering The Cure; Jonathan Rado (Foxygen) covering Bruce Springsteen; and that was just in our first six months!

  • Can I purchase past months’ releases?

    Absolutely! We produce a limited number of releases and sell them until we run out. Visit our shop to browse past releases that are still available. Note that past releases are usually only available on black vinyl.

Pairings Box

  • Can I request recipes that are only vegetarian/gluten-free/meat-free?

    Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot customize the recipe collections in the Pairings Box. We’re a small operation and only create three, original recipes for Pairings Box subscribers every month. That said, we *usually* include at least one vegetarian recipe in each box. We try to pre-announce recipe collections that cater to special dietary restrictions. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook and sign up to receive Pairings Box updates via email.

  • I DON'T HAVE A TURNTABLE, SHOULD I STILL JOIN SOUNDS DELICIOUS?

    You don’t need a turntable to enjoy the music in the Pairings Box. All of the music that comes in your monthly Pairings Box is available digitally. Our vinyl records are limited edition (we never press more than the original pressing) and often our artist collaborators’ very first physical release.   • Where can I find the digital downloads that accompany my Pairings Box?

    The digital downloads are only available to Pairings Box subscribers and are maintained on a password protected page of our site. Find a digital download card inside your Pairings Box.

  • WHAT KIND OF INGREDIENT WILL I FIND IN MY PAIRINGS BOX?

    We include 1-2 Premium dried ingredients in each Pairings Box. Past ingredients have included: Organic Barley Flour, French Gray Sea Salt & Lavender, Organic Chipotle Chili Powder, Sicilian Salted Capers, and Zaatar. We never ship meat, fish or dairy products. You’ll have enough to make your recipe (s) plus plenty of extra for future uses.

  • Why are you sold out?!?!

    All of our releases are limited edition products and each record is a one time pressing, so we do not make more if we sell out. Due to popular demand, most of our releases sell out quickly. To make sure you don’t miss your chance to purchase your subscription, sign up for our mailing list.

  • How can I get the deluxe vinyl variant of a release?

    Deluxe vinyl variants of our releases are a perk of membership! Pairings Box subscribers and SOUNDS DELICIOUS members receive their records on colored vinyl. Once you’ve been a member of any of our services for 12 consecutive months you get upgraded to Gold Club Status which means you’ll receive the record in a deluxe vinyl (i.e. splattered vinyl, half-n-half vinyl, etc) configuration.

  • I filled in the order form with the gift recipient's proper address, but the PayPal confirmation listed my address instead!

    Don’t worry, we disregard the shipping address provided by PayPal and use the address you provided on the order form when placing your order.

  • I never received my package, WTF?!

    If you haven’t received your box, please contact us at: info@turntablekitchen.com. We’re more than happy to help you figure out what happened. Obviously, we cannot control the U.S. Postal Service, but we’ll do the best we can to make sure that you receive your Pairings Box as soon as possible.

  • Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

    Yes. We understand that circumstances change. Unless we have already processed your order for the current month, you can cancel your recurring subscription at any time.   • CAN YOU PROVIDE A GIFT CARD I CAN USE TO NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT(S) OF THE GIFT?

    Sure, by default we include a gift card that explains the gift, the length of the gift subscription, and the name(s) of the person giving the gift. It doubles as a gift card that you can print yourself and provide to the gift recipient in advance of the gift. You can download that here.

    Sure, by default we include a gift card that explains the gift, the length of the gift subscription, and the name(s) of the person giving the gift. It doubles as a gift card that you can print yourself and provide to the gift recipient in advance of the gift. You can download that here.

  • Where can I find the digital downloads that accompany my Coffee & Vinyl subscription?

    You’ll find a digital download card inside your Pairings Box. To access your digital download, simply create an account. Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be able to log in to download the music from your 7”.

  • Do you offer decaf coffee?

    At this time, we do not offer decaf coffee.

  • Does the coffee come ground?

    To ensure and preserve freshness, our coffee does not come pre-ground.

  • Where does your coffee come from?

    We source our coffee from award-winning Slate Coffee Roasters, in Seattle.

  • Can I choose which coffee I want?

    At this time, we cannot offer a selection of options. We carefully curate the rotation of coffees we ship and we think you’ll love our picks. It changes from month to month in order to keep your palette engaged and excited!

  • I don't live in the U.S. Do you ship internationally?

    We sure do! Just be sure to select ‘Everywhere Else’ when you go through the subscription process. You can also purchase 1, 3, 6 or 12 month gift subscriptions.

    International shipping costs for your order will automatically populate at checkout, based on your destination.

  • How can I cut down on international shipping costs?

    Unfortunately, it is expensive to ship records internationally. The good news is that for SOUNDS DELICIOUS, our cost is the same if we ship one record or if we ship two records. That means, you can cut down the “per record” cost of shipping if you order two or more records. See if any of our past releases strike your fancy or, alternately, find a friend who also wants a copy of our latest release. We also offer a “quarterly shipping” option and you can read about that below.

  • Tell me about quarterly shipping options abroad.

    To ease the pain of international shipping costs, we also offer SOUNDS DELICIOUS members the option to select quarterly shipping when purchasing a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month gift order. When you choose the quarterly shipping option, we’ll send you one package containing three records approximately every three months.

  • CAN YOU SHIP MY ORDER BY A CERTAIN DATE / OFFER RUSH DELIVERY?

    Generally speaking, no. For holiday orders, we offer a cut-off order date for domestic orders to be delivered by December 24th. However, we cannot guarantee international order delivery by a specific date. We understand that sometimes you want to give someone a gift in time for their birthday/ wedding/ etc., but given that we are a very small team, we’re unable to process rush orders. We do, however, have a downloadable pdf that you can print out and slip into a card, as well as digital gift cards. Just let ‘em know that Turntable Kitchen is the gift that keeps on giving.

  • MY PACKAGE ARRIVED DAMAGED. CAN YOU HELP?
