Wilder Quarterly and a Special Event in NYC

Wilder Quarterly Mushroom Dinner

Despite my love of technology (blogging, taking photos with my phone and DSLR camera, etc.), I’m still a die-hard fan of paper. I can’t get enough of all of beautiful print publications like Gather Journal, Sweet Paul, UPPERCASE, Anthology, Cereal, Kinfolk…and now, Wilder, a magazine “for people enthralled by the natural and growing world.” One day, I hope to have the opportunity to not only shop at farmer’s markets for my produce, but to grow some of it, too. In the meantime, I can dream away by flipping through the pages of this beautiful magazine.

Like many other print publications, Wilder is doing something very smart: extending its offering beyond the printed page to digital mediums, online storefronts, and in-person events. On June 9th, they are holding an event in NYC that looks pretty fantastic. Called the ‘Mushroom Dinner’ the event includes wine pairings for each course, as well as an informative session about the basics of truffle hunting. Since we (sadly) can’t fly out to New York for it, we’ve teamed up with Wilder to give away 1 coveted spot at the dinner table (there are only 10 seats).
