Single Serving: Wet – Wet EP

I’m completely hung up on this pair of tracks from NYC-based trio Wet (i.e. Kelly Zutrau, Martin Sulkow and Joe Valle) this afternoon. The excellent “Dreams” is a beautifully textured groove built upon a sputtering rhythm and glittery melody. Meanwhile, the lovely ballad “I Don’t Want To Be Your Girl” has a simmering, smokey ambiance tinted with finger-snaps and multi-tracked vocals. I imagine I’ll be keeping this on heavy rotation.

The EP is available on 10″ vinyl via Neon Gold.
