Zaatar Pizza on Rosemary Crust: A Guest Post for Aida Mollenkamp

Today we are so thrilled to be guest posting on Aida Mollenkamp’s blog. I can still remember watching her on the Food Network, when I was still *learning* how to cook, so you can imagine how special it was when she asked me to share a Turntable Kitchen recipe with her readers. As big pizza lovers, we chose to share a recipe for one of our new favorite pizzas. It’s topped with a special Middle Eastern spice blend called Zaatar, which some of you may have received in your December Pairings Box (courtesy of Sami’s Kitchen).   • How nice! This really is inspiring me to once and for all find a place nearby where I can score burrata. I had a burrata appetizer in Traverse City at this fantastic Italian place where the chef makes his own. Heaven!! Beautiful pizza!

  • Burrata is, in my opinion, as close to caviar as it gets. Not in texture or flavor, obviously, but it just feels so luxurious. I can only imagine how out-of-this-world good the one you tried was (the chef makes his own!!!)
