The Night VI‘s latest offering “Wonderlust” is an upbeat and bouncing tune with an irresistible melody. We were pretty much hooked on first listen.
So we’re happy to see that our buds IYES liked it enough to try their hand at reinventing the tune. Indeed, as they’d done with their remix of Paperwhite‘s catchy summer jam “Magic” – IYES completely rewire the tune’s DNA. Indeed, their take on the tune is anything but upbeat and bouncing. Instead, it’s a wheezing and downbeat groove that accents the song’s sad underbelly. It’s not the ear worm that the original was, but it’s every bit as engaging.
