In yet another strong song off All Dogs‘ Kicking Every Day, due out at the end of the month, “Skin,” grapples with self-hatred and sabotage in a way that’s completely satisfying. The mix of a gentle guitar melody and more turbulent chorus, and leader Maryn Jones’ sweet yet gritty vocals, allows “Skin” to masterfully weave between order and chaos. This Columbus, OH quartet are making heady pop-punk tunes that should not be missed.
