You will be reminded of two important life lessons by the time you finish reading this entry. First thing’s first: Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. We’ve all heard it before, well the same goes for album art. Sunday morning I almost scrolled past this little gem of a song because of the very bizarre photo that adorned the thumbnail of its track. Look at it closely, WTF, right? Anyhoo, we will return to this in just a second.

Lesson #2 – Carpe diem, ya, ya, we all know what it means, nonetheless at some point in life we’ve all carpe didn’t, especially when it comes to a new love interest. Sometimes it’s hard to build the courage to vocalize your feelings or make that first move when there are butterflies going after your stomach with a bunch of jackhammers. Well Planetarian is here to remind you that you aren’t alone, and they’ve even packaged up a little bravery for you in the form of a finger-snapping catchy little ditty called “Kiss”. It’s free so you can download it and pop in the tape deck of your crush’s 2 door coupe next time he/she is dropping you off in front of your house and you are too scared to make that next move.

What this song has anything to do with a shirtless boy covered in ketchup, with eyes for nipples and a smiling belly button, I will probably never know, but don’t let that stop you from pressing play. It will be worth it, I promise.
