Hints of Moon Safari-era Air waft smoke-like in the atmosphere amid bubbling, darkly-tonal synths and a textured, clip-clop rhythm on the latest groove from Running In The Fog (the moniker of San Francisco-based Amanda Harper). It’s the second single from Harper’s upcoming Silver EP (a few weeks ago we featured the album’s first single “Desire”). As with her prior single, Harper’s lyrics and smokey delivery allude to darkly-lit romance and smooth late 90’s r&b a la Aaliyah or Sade. In other words, it’s incredibly easy to find a lot to like on this track.
The EP is out December 10th and available digitally from Father/Daughter Records.
