Single Serving: Giraffage – Pretty Things EP

I’m definitely enjoying the beautifully disjointed and rhythmic groove of “A Bird In Hand.” It’s an experimental, electro dream-pop gem by San Francisco’s Giraffage (a.k.a. Charlie Yin) that recently found it’s way into my inbox.  And I’m certainly glad it did.  The groove is perpetual and the melody is driving, like an infusion of energy that fills your head with the blissful sound of birds chirping in paradise. The track is from his upcoming debut EP titled Pretty Things.  The EP is being self-released on May 1, 2011 and you can cop your copy on his website.
