Hard Mix is the moniker of Greenville, South Carolina producer/musician Noah Smith. Blending R&B & hip hop vocal samples with electro/chillwave melodies, Smith creates something sunny and soothingly familiar. His cut “One Thing” borrows lyrics from Justin Timberlake’s “My Love” and the Hard Mix tune “Alright” samples Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. “Alright” and “King of the Stars” are from his upcoming full-length In and Our of My Life due later this year, and “One Thing” is from a prior self-titled release.
