Allrecipes Cinco De Mayo Playlist

We’re partnering up with Allrecipes Magazine again this month for a fun playlist to soundtrack your Cinco De Mayo party.

We wanted to create a playlist that was upbeat and fun, stayed true to our aesthetic, and offered an obvious hat tip to Mexico. With that in mind you’ll find many of Turntable Kitchen’s favorite artists filled out with a few songs about Mexico (such as the tunes from James Taylor, Bob Weir, Frank Black, Merle Haggard, and Kyle Craft). We hope you enjoy!

The playlist:

  1. James Taylor – Mexico
  2. Ondatropica – Lazalypso
  3. Springtime Carnivore – Under The Spell
  4. Blood Orange – E.V.P.
  5. Sylvan Esso – Radio
  6. Gallant – Learn To Fly (Foo Fighters Cover)
  7. Aloe Blacc – I Need A Dollar
  8. Curtis Mayfield – Move On Up (Extended Version)
  9. A Tribe Called Quest – Check The Rhime
  10. Malo – Sauvecito
  11. Chuck Berry – Havanna Moon
  12. Los Lobos – Come On, Let’s Go
  13. Bob Weir – Mexicali Blues
  14. Frank Black – Brackish Boy
  15. Hinds – Garden
  16. The National – You’ve Done It Again, Virginia
  17. Santana – Oye Como Va
  18. Merle Haggard – The Immigrant
  19. Kyle Craft – Before The Wall
  20. El Triple Filtro – Drifting

Can I get Cinco Playlist on cd?

  • Hey Sue. Unfortunately, we don’t have the rights to offer this music on CD. Hopefully that means you’re enjoying the playlist though!
