“Call The Days” finely balances heartbreak with healing. New Zealand singer-songwriter Nadia Reid actually does a balancing act of emotions throughout her gorgeous debut album Listen to Formation, Look for the Signs but in “Call The Days” it is at its most pronounced. In her timeless sounding folk song, Reid, with an unwavering and clear voice, calls for contemplation in the face of change, transformation in the face of sadness. Her quiet confidence is something to behold.
