Giveaway: A Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable from Gramovox

Giveaway: A Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable from Gramovox

When we first got wind of Gramovox’s Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable on Kickstarter, we immediately jumped at the chance to back the campaign, which ultimately raised over $1.5 million. It’s not often that we come across a turntable that is both beautiful and functional.

The Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable is a record player reimagined — it plays records vertically so it looks like your record is actually…floating. But the Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable isn’t just pretty, it’s a high-performance record player that produces great analog sound.

Today we’re super stoked to give one lucky reader a chance to win their very own Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable, just in time for the holidays — though let’s be honest: this is the sort of gift we think you’d like to keep for yourself.

How to Enter

  1. Follow Turntable Kitchen and Gramovox on Instagram (@turntablekitchen and @gramovox), Facebook,  (/TurntableKitchen and /Gramovox) and Twitter (@ttablekitchen and @gramovox)
  2. Repost the image we post of Gramovox’s Floating Record™ Vertical Turntable on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter using the hashtags #FloatingRecord and #turntablekitchen and tell us the record you’d love to play on your turntable

The giveaway will close on Monday, December 7th and we’ll work with the folks at Gramovox to select a winner at random. Good luck!

Very cool design but not original. Mitsubishi built high quality Linear Tracking Vertical turntables back in the 1980’s. Would love to hear one and compare it’s sound to a standard horizontal belt drive turntable. Would be curious how they isolate the speaker vibrations from the platter?
