Brighton-based quintet Phoria are prepping their brand new Display EP for a June release. This time last year we were swooning over their debut single, so it’s a good time for them to hit us with some brand new material. This one floats on a sparse vibe filled with finger-snaps, hand-claps, and toe-taps to accompany some exceptionally lovely harmonies and feather-light vocals. At the mid-point some grimy, floor-dragging synths burst into the melody like a loud banger blasting in an adjoining room. It’s pretty spectacular.
