Although there are many albums that I’m looking forward to in the second half of the year, Pure Bathing Culture‘s Moon Tides is one of my most highly anticipated. And if I needed another reason to get excited, then the album’s second single “Dream The Dare” nailed it. It’s a psychedelic, reverb-drenched folk-ballad built around an echoing ambiance, a sparkling acoustic guitar riff, and Sarah Versprille’s smokey croon. It’s flowing and clean.
