Trevor Powers (a.k.a. Youth Lagoon) has prepped his sophomore album which will land in just a few months. In advance of the release he’s set free the album’s first single “Dropla.” The tune features a bright, loose, and humming ambiance that flows alongside a steadily building melody as Powers chants over and over “you’ll never die.” The album itself, Wondrous Bughouse, is scheduled for a March 5th release on Fat Possum. However you felt about the last Youth Lagoon record, I promise you this one is going to be really good and will be worth your time.
