Kodiak Fur is the project of the Miami-based quartet consisting of Albert Vargas and Zues Lve alongside two members of the Mr. Familiar production team: Steve Sanz and Chris Thomas. The band’s first single “Hi Luv” is a vintage-washed jam dressed in the crisp, tape-warped trappings of early 80’s new wave. It’s a beautiful introduction to the band. I know I’m excited to hear more.
