Cloud Seeding is the project of Brooklyn-based guitarist Kevin Serra (of This Ascension, Lot 49). It’s a project Serra envisioned as consisting of collaborations with vocalists he admires, but for which he has no other preconceived sound or themes. For his first release, he has teamed up with Boston folk-stylist Marissa Nadler for a pair of tracks he has weaved around darkly, dream-like melodies that float like smoke wafting through a ray of sunlight.
