Single Serving: Kissed Her Little Sister – Cocaine Blues (Johnny Cash Cover)

Kissed Her Little Sister is Santa Monica’s Jeffrey Morisano.  Jeff has been recording some devastatingly messed up tracks in his bedroom: tracks that feature his calm, affectless vocals atop Girl Talk-esque instrumentals.  The results have a healthy originality to it: something that sounds slightly off, but that unquestionably grooves.  On this track, Morisano sings the vocals from Johnny Cash’s “Cocaine Blues” atop a thick, reved-up tune pieced together from bits of the Inspector Gadget theme song, Pink Floyd’s “The Happiest Days of Our Lives”, and more.  Download his album for free from Bandcamp.
