Single Serving: Beck – Dixie Peach Promenade (Skip Spence Cover feat. Wilco, Jamie Lidell)

“Dixie Peach Promenade” is the most recently released song from Beck’s Record Club’s latest project: Skip Spence’s Oar. As I noted in the post for the track “Little Hands” in this project, Beck is joined by Wilco, Jamie Lidell, and Feist. On this track, Jeff Tweedy from Wilco tackles the lead vocals and the group produce this funky little jam. It’s a loose and groovy track that ends with the group breaking into Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants” briefly as an outro. There are two more tracks left to be released, so stick around because I’ll be posting the entire collection as soon as it is fully released.
