Single Serving: The Decemberists / Colin Meloy – Unreleased Live Covers

I’ve been hoarding my collection of covers by the Decemberists for too long now. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if you were ready for this. But I’ve been considering it, and I think our readers are ready for a fistful of hot Decemberists covers. Now, this is hardly what you’d call a complete collection of covers by the Decemberists. In fact, there is a lot of stuff missing here. For example, I seem to recall them performing a goofy cover of Lionel Richie’s “Dancing on The Ceiling” in San Francisco at the Warfield a few years back. I’ve seen videos of them performing a host of classic rock covers at a soundcheck. I know I always say this, and it hasn’t happened yet, but if you have any additional live, unreleased covers – let me know, and I’ll add the links.
