Single Serving: Radiohead – Live KROQ, LA (12/18/1995)

I promised to share this short set back when I posted my Radiohead Rarities Volume 1 and Volume 2. This set is notable because it features the band playing the two “sexiest” songs ever written (per Thom Yorke): Carly Simon’s “Nobody Does It Better” and Radiohead’s “Creep.” I was going to put this off for awhile, but in anticipation of the heavily rumored Wall of Ice EP that may or may not be released on Monday: I decided to bump up this post.

In case, you missed it: the Radiohead rumor mill that has been running on high gear the past couple of day owing to the leak of a track that would seem to be a new Radiohead song. Said track features vocals by Thom Yorke, but was dropped mysteriously on the atease message board a few days ago with no explanation. Radiohead and their management have not offered any comments on the leak. Members of the Atease forensic squad noticed a number of deeply buried clues in an .nfo file that accompanied the leaked track which seemed to indicate a possible release of a new EP potentially titled “Wall of Ice” with a speculated release date this next Monday (based on various abstract evidence that I won’t delve into). And now, the website www.wallofice.com re-directs to the Radiohead digital music store (UPDATE: it no longer re-directs). So, by the end of this weekend we’ll either have a new Radiohead EP – or we won’t (UPDATE: We won’t). Exciting. Anyways, I’ve included the leaked MP3 as well as the KROQ set I previously promised. Enjoy!
