Looking for something cool to listen to this afternoon? Look no further. This debut cut by Los Angeles’ vōx (a.k.a. Sarah Winters) has been lurking around in my headphones all morning and I’m betting you’re going to feel it too. “Better” is a woozy, off-kilter jam built from a snapping, shuffling rhythm, blasts of fuzz, and some disarmingly steady-gazed vocals,  “We don’t lay down. We stand up.”

If you like what you hear, she has an EP titled Put The Poison In Me coming soon that you’ll want to watch for.
