Single Servings: Giraffage – Fnord

Last month we introduced you to San Francisco’s Giraffage – a weaver of refreshingly crisp electro dream pop tunes that thread their way through loose-knit grooves and tightly-toothed rhythms. Since that time he officially released his Pretty Things EP, which is now available for download from his Bandcamp page, and in case you were wondering – yeah, it’s pretty good.  “Fnord” (which you can download below) is as bubbling and flowing as a freshly opened can of soda, while “Eschaton” is smoothly textured and features a dirty groove balanced against chopped-up but clean vocal samples that simply light up the room.
