Philadelphia’s CSLSX is the latest in a series of mysterious, but awesome bands (or in this case a collective) to quietly drop a few awesome tracks on the music loving public this year while providing little or nothing in the way of a bio. Of course, what more does the listener need to know other than that the music is good? Pitchfork notes that at least one member of this collective goes by the name Harvey Culture, but that is about all we know about the “who” of CSLSX. Their latest jam is the cut-up R&B groove “We Ought To Be Together.” They’d previously dropped a glitchy, vocoder cut titled “Future Tapes.” I think you’ll enjoy them both.
