Vancouver’s Teen Daze is yet another awesome artist on the consistently rewarding Arcade Sound Ltd. (which also hosts other Musical Pairings’ favorites such as Memoryhouse and MillionYoung). Teen Daze weaves mesmerizingly layered melodies that are hazy, evocative and warming. Shimmering synths swirl in elliptical patterns alongside fuzzy, neon beats on tunes like “Shine On, You Crazy White Cap” and his cover of Washed Out’s “New Theory.” His debut, Four More Years EP, is scheduled to be released very soon.
