Single Serving: The XX – You’ve Got The Love (Florence & The Machine Cover)(The Very Best Remix)

Here is another multi-staged collaborative remix that caught my ear recently. Here’s the story: London’s The XX recently recorded a cover/partial remix of Florence & The Machine’s cover of the tune “You’ve Got the Love.” (The original song by the Source featuring Candi Stanton has a pretty complex back story unto itself that you can read by following this link.) Unsurprisingly, it was awesome. Then The Very Best(i.e. Malawi, East Africa’s Esau Mwamwaya with Radioclit) decided to rework the XX’s cover/remix of the track. The result is an increase in overall song awesomeness. Check out both versions below.
