Happy New Year’s Eve! Today’s Single Serving is a remix Girl Talk put together for Grizzly Bear featuring the track “Knife” off of Grizzly Bear’s debut mashed-up with “Wamp Wamp” by Clipse (and a few other bits from other songs thrown in for good measure). This is the only song I’ve ever intentionally “mistagged” for my iPod. Specifically, (and in case you care and would like to properly label the MP3) this track is officially labeled as “Grizzly Bear – Knife (Girl Talk Remix),” but this song is as much a Clipse remix as it is a Grizzly Bear remix, and to be entirely honest it feels altogether most like a Girl Talk track. So I re-named the file as a Girl Talk song. Anyways, this seemed appropriate for today since I hear Girl Talk throws one hell of a New Year’s Eve party. Enjoy!
