Allrecipes Holiday Playlist

dsc_0167

We’re honored to partner with Allrecipes Magazine again this month for a cool and upbeat Holiday Playlist.

We included plenty of Christmas classics alongside some unexpected surprises as well, all while avoiding the most well known renditions of songs. More generally, we tried to keep the mix eclectic (blues, indie, r&b, funk, etc) and sonically diverse. We hope you enjoy!

The playlist:

1) Louis Armstrong & The Commanders – ‘Zat You, Santa Claus?
2) Stevie Wonder – What Christmas Means To Me
3) Vampire Weekend – Holiday
4) The Shins – Wonderful Christmastime
5) Sufjan Stevens – Holly Jolly Christmas
6) Freddie King – Christmas Tears
7) James Brown – Signs of Christmas
8) Woods – Christmas Time Is Here
9) The Sonics – Don’t Believe In Christmas
9) The Kinks – Father Christmas
11) LCD Soundsystem – Oh You (Christmas Blues)
12) Sufjan Stevens – That Was The Worst Christmas Ever!
13) Otis Redding – Merry Christmas Baby
14) Real Estate – Snow Days
15) Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings – White Christmas
16) John Lennon – Happy X Mas (War Is Over)
