The debut single “Lonewolves” by Berlin collective DEATHS may be the best new song you’ll hear this week. Not unlike a lost cut from DARKSIDE’s Psychic, the gorgeous groove proceeds alongside distant synths, a slowly pulsating heartbeat of a bass riff, and sparse, textured percussion. Slow burning and completely captivating, it’s an incredibly promising start for these up-and-coming artists.
It’s pulled from their debut EP which is set for release by the end of the year via Love by Mistake.
