Bey and Jay are rolling through San Francisco this week, so it seems appropriate that we’re able to share this excellent cover of Beyonce’s “No Angel” by Tei Shi (Valerie Teicher).
Unsurprisingly, Tei Shi doesn’t try to beat Bey at her own game and instead takes the track in her own direction. It’s far less produced, a little less pop, and more shimmery synths. Oh, and that roar/scream at the bridge? Brilliant.
