Spoon - Rent I Pay

We got a new Spoon jam for you this morning, but (fair warning) this isn’t the type of tune you’d normally expect from the band. It’s got a dreamy crystal palace-like vibe that glistens brightly with sparkling, feather-light harpsichord accents. In fact, the whole song would probably float away to the heavens if it wasn’t being held to the ground by a chugging rhythm to accompany frontman Britt Daniel as he sings, “there is intense gravity / I’m just your satellite / time’s gone inside out.”

You can preorder They Want My Soul now in various different editions of limited edition vinyl and special bundles directly from the band’s website.
