Single Serving: Salt Cathedral – Tease

TEASEsongart

Last we heard from Brooklyn’s Salt Cathedral they had just finished up a tour opening for Cibo Matto and were hard at work on their highly anticipated debut full length. Today we get a first taste of the new album by way of the exquisite new single “Tease.”

Whereas their excellent self-titled debut EP was anchored by angular math rock styled guitar riffs, “Tease” offers a glitchy, bubbling brew of electronic beats and swirling, textured synths to accompany vocalist Juli Ronderos’ sweetly crooned vocals. Despite it’s title, this is no tease – this is exactly what you came for.
