The Chicago & Minneapolis based trio ON AN ON are in the midst of a BIG year. First, each of their early singles charted at the top of the Popular List on Hype Machine and have received, quite literally, hundreds of thousands of plays on Soundcloud. Naturally, the success translated to a popular debut record and spots touring in support of both Geographer and Junip. With the groundwork set, they’re ready for their first full headline tour across the U.S. To mark the occasion they’ve recorded a collection of cover songs to celebrate. Below you can hear their take on Bjork’s “Unison” and Hot Chip’s “Boy From School.” The tracks will be available on an extremely limited, tour only cassette single. Our friends in the Bay Area can get one on Sept. 10th when they stop by Cafe du Nord.
