Single Serving: Banks – Waiting Game

Banks - Waiting Game

LA-based Banks‘ sultry new single debuted yesterday on GvB. It unfurls with a bright, clean piano melody that gives way to a gritty, debauched groove (courtesy of S O H N) to accompany the heroine’s smokey croon as she sings, “I’m thinking it over, the way you make me feel all sexy, but it’s causing me shame. I want to lean on your shoulder. I wish I was in love, but I don’t want to cause any pain.” Beautiful, powerful and vulnerable, it may be the sexiest song you’ll hear all year.

Her EP will be out soon via Harvest Records.
