Single Serving: Theophilus London ft. The Menahan Street Band – Rio

I love any song that can transport me to another time and place, and the latest jam by Theophilus London featuring The Menahan Street Band titled “Rio” does just that. It features a sparkling, smooth 70′s soul groove with a funky beat for London to croon upon. It’s the perfect tune to bliss out to during a little “me time.”

Speaking of “me time,” Häagen-Dazs has asked me to partner with them again as their music curator for their “moments for me” campaign. This year the Häagen-Dazs brand is asking their fans to share their most cherished moments on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using #HDMoment to help create the narrative for their “moment for me” story. As their music curator, I’ll be sharing music-centered “moments” that inspire me. I’ll also be watching for other people who use the #HDMoment hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and resharing my favorites. You can find out more by visiting HDmoment.com.

Again, as was the case last year, Häagen-Dazs isn’t directly paying me to participate. However, they are sending me some free ice cream and other surprise “incentives” to inspire my moments (i.e. concert tickets, a gift certificate to my favorite local record store, etc.). They aren’t telling me what those goodies will be in advance, but I’ll be disclosing all of those incentives to you. In the meantime, I’d love to hear about those cherished moments you take to inspire yourself. Share them with me (and don’t forget to use the #HDMoment hashtag).
