Single Serving Premiere: Stroik – One More Time

Brightly textured and fresh-faced clean, the latest offering from North Carolina-based songwriter Stroik is the irresistibly upbeat pop jam “One More Time.” Built upon a bouncing Yamaha keyboard framed melody the tune is all sunshine and rainbows. But, as is often the case with a good pop jam, the lyrics are far less idealistic: “I remember when we met. I thought everything was perfect. I didn’t know what perfect was.” Loose and unfussy, “One More Time” goes to show that some things in life are better specifically because they are slightly flawed.
