You know how exciting it is to receive new music from a band you love? Well, you can imagine our excitement when our buddies in The Record Company sent us their recently compiled Covers EP. As the name implies, it collects a series of the band’s cover songs including takes on The Beastie Boys, The Stooges, The Grateful Dead, and more. It’s a damn good time.
And, just in time for the holidays, they’ve also recorded a bluesy, rootsy take on Elvis’ “Blue Christmas.” This one came in a little late for the official Turntable Kitchen Christmas Mix, but in plenty of time for you to enjoy before this holiday season has past. Enjoy!
