AlunaGeorge have already developed a reputation as one of the hottest up-and-coming new artists thanks to a steady stream of amazing, weird-pop singles. Happily, their latest jam “Your Drums” follows in that tradition. The jam blends a mangeled, stuttering vocal sample Purity Ring-style and skittering percussion with Aluna’s honeyed croon as she sings: “I’ve been treading water for your love / whether I sink or swim it’s you I’m thinking of.” It’ll make you melt.
