Single Servings: The Resonars – Long Long Thoughts EP

Based on the strength of the Long Long Thoughts EP, The Resonars sound like a promising band with their lush harmonies, screaming guitars, and catchy melodies that sonically call to mind the psychedelic garage pop tunes of The Hollies or The Who. The only catch is that they aren’t a “they” or a “band.” In fact, The Resonars is the name of the recording project of Arizona-based one man band Matt Rendon who performs every instrument and sings every harmony on the entire EP. It’s catchy as hell and it’s available from Trouble In Mind Records.
