Single Serving: DannielRadall – La Femme EP

Guadalajara, Mexico’s DannielRadall crafts a hip hop-influenced, mashed up, slowed down, dismantled and reassembled form of electro-pop that will get you set-up nice and cozy in a nostalgia-induced trance.   The track “Stoned?” is patched together from samples that sound as if they were jacked from your favorite 80’s-90’s-era hip hop tunes blended with the instrumental theme music from popular 80’s movies.  “No. 6” is a chilled, down-tempo groove, and buried underneath the washes of echo you’ll find a sample from the Outkast skit “Where Are My Panties?”.  His latest EP, which features these tracks and four other excellent cuts, is titled La Femme, and is available as a free download from AMDISCS.
